Flashing Guide:
Installation Instructions [old / with speedmod]
- Flash JV1 ( www.samfirmware.com ) with Odin / Heimdall.
- Use 512 pit, repartition ON, auto reboot ON.
- Once the SGS has restarted, shut it down and get into Download Mode again.
- Flash a Speedmod Kernel with Odin (it's a Froyo kernel but we need it now).
- Put the TAR file in PDA and flash - make sure auto reboot is OFF!
- Pull the battery and put it back in.
- Close Odin, disconnect your cable from your SGS.
- Enter Recovery Mode [VOLUME UP + HOME + POWER - only hold them for 1-2 seconds]
- You're in the green Speedmod Recovery now.
- Flash the ROM.
- I didn't test it with a factory reset here, I just flashed and it worked.
- Reboot.
